阿明是一名年轻编剧，他在地中海度假，在度假期间他与一名叫做贾斯敏的女孩相爱了。在这期间，他又遇到一个制片人声称可以投资他的第一部电影。这时制片人的老婆看上了阿明，这时阿明要在贾斯敏、制片人老婆与自己的职业生涯三者中做出选择。

年轻有为的军官埃沙，因参加迎新活动遭到军校学长霸凌而丧命。他的哥哥与母亲想帮弟弟讨回公道，在一边守丧，一边为弟弟捍卫荣耀的日子里，哥哥忆起儿时与父亲爱恨难解的关系、来到法国后日渐疏离的兄弟亲情，和那段最难忘的到台北探望在台大留学的弟弟，并意外在异地重拾往日情谊的短暂日子。
